Money Solution $$$$$
I have an idea to sort out our financial situation. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest.
Remember the days as a child when you played Monopoly and it became one sided? We would call a clean slate and start everybody out at the same starting cash amount. 2 $500, 2 $100, etc... You kept your stuff, but the playing field was leveled on the cash field.
So, I say, let's try that approach now. Bill Gates, Budweiser, and the oil companies have Billions. Great. You played the game very well. You won. Now we all go back to zero and start over. You're so great, let's see you do it again. At least give the rest of us a fair shot.
But who am I kidding... it will never be a fair shot. This is the way life intended it to be. Survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed. That IS nature's way. The slowest animal becomes dinner. There is no reset button in nature.
So... as much as I wish my plan could come true, it is flawed. However, I have come to realization. In tough times, your friends and family are all you have. Cherish them. Be there for each other. The strong survive doesn't mean strength comes from money. Yeah, it's powerful to have money, but the richest man in the world is lonely if he has no friends.
Remember, it's always better to be nice than rich. But it sure would be great to be BOTH!
