Weekdays, 5:30-10am   |   Email   |   Blog

Hi everyone! You came here to find out about Dana McDonald, so here we go! First let me say that I LOVE what I do! I've been lucky enough to be able to do what I love for over 30 years, the last 21 at Delmarva Broadcasting! I started my radio "career" at WQHQ (Q-105) in Salisbury, from there I went to Fredericksburg, VA. (B-101.5), then to WSTW (93-7), and finally made the move to Cool 101.3 in late 2010. When I'm not on Cool 101.3, I'm working a wedding or party with my mobile DJ company ( danamcdonalddj.com), having fun with my 3 boys (all 11 years old or younger), or driving my wife crazy with my "amazing" drumming skills! I look forward to meeting all of you, and I hope you'll join me every weekday morning between 5:30 and 10!

This Long Island boy calls Delmarva home. I have been here with Delmarva Broadcasting and Cool 101.3 for almost 10 years! I grew up with the Eagles, the Police and Earth Wind & Fire. I Love the music we play on Cool 101.3. When I'm not in the studio or at Steve's Seaside Saloon, you can find me on anyone of Delmarva's golf courses seeking to break 90. Thank you for listening to Cool 101.3. And check this blog for my rants, entertaining videos and anything else I might think you will enjoy!

Hey there, itís Tom. Iíve been with Delmarva Broadcasting since 2003. I used to spend many of my Saturday nights on the air on COOL 101.3 and our sister station EAGLE 97.7. Nowadays, youíll hear me filling the midday or afternoon shifts on Cool. Iím a native Delawarean; Iíve lived and worked in all three counties. I attended Cabrini College and was the very first station manager of the college radio station. I interned at the rock station WYSP in Philly and worked at the old SEA93 in Georgetown one summer. One of the highlights of my radio career was a Live Broadcast from the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland in 2008 (thatís where my pic is from).

I live in Dover and work in sports entertainment. I love all the Philadelphia sports teams but mostly Iím a big Eagles fan. I enjoy going to the beach and flying my stunt kites. Iím big on social media and I love to read. But mostly, Iím a huge music fan and love every one of the tunes you hear on COOL 101.3.

Hi I'm Kevin and I love music and radio! I'm the new part-timer at Cool 101.3! I'm usually on-air every Saturday from 2 pm to 7 pm playing Delaware's Greatest Hits! I've been at Delmarva Broadcasting for a few months and I've been having a blast! It's nice being able to have fun on-air where the music is the star (as it should be). I started my radio career when reel to reel and cart machines were the "happening" technology (lol).

It was the music from David Bowie, Prince, Devo, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith and Aretha Franklin (just to name a few) that served as the soundtrack during my formable years as a teenager in the 80's (those were fun times). It's nice to re-live those good times when I'm on air at Cool! I'm from Washington DC and I currently reside in Maryland. I pride myself in having an expansive CD music collection (35,000). Also, I'm an avid sports junkie (Go Nationals, Go Orioles, Go Wizards Go Burgundy and Gold). When I'm not on the radio I can be seen on TV in the DMV (DC, MD and VA) hosting The Nations Capital Sports Show.

Sunday mornings   |   Email

Good morning! You can catch me on Sunday mornings at dawn's early light, 6-9am. I have always been a morning person so it works out well for me. At 7am, I host "In Touch with Delmarva", a chance to get details on events, happenings, news etc, and life is all about details. I also get to tell a joke or 2 so consider that a heads up.

You can also catch me on our sister station Delaware 105.9 News Talk, Saturdays at 6am. It's an hour show called "Slower Lower" and, well, you probably guessed what the topics are.

I was born in Dover and have lived in Harrington my whole life, well at least the part up 'til now. I am sort of the locals local and love life in Slower Lower.

Like the farmer who fell off the wagon, I gotta hit the road.
thanks for listening ; take care ; Norm
Joe Johnson
Beatle Brunch, Sundays 9-10am

Joe Johnson was born near Kennedy Airport in New York, a half dozen years before The Beatles landed in America for the first time. He and his family moved to South Florida to witness the magic of the Fab Four on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, and remembers the 8 days (a week) they spent in Miami. Beatle Brunch is a fascinating hour of music and interviews with The Beatles and those in their immediate circle, including Manager Brian Epstein and Producer George Martin. Every week, you'll hear classic interview clips from the days of Beatlemania, plus the most up to date information about The Beatles today.
